Olde Glory Days To Don New Banners

Posted

We are now into February, so it’s now time to start thinking about… Olde Glory Days 2023.
This year, Olde Glory Days is celebrating its 30th birthday. As part of that celebration, the OGD Committee and the Chamber Ambassadors Committee is selling new banners that will be displayed around the Downtown Square and on Second and Ohio streets from May through the 4th of July.
We will be ordering these banners from Street Décor, Inc. and they will be printed on acrylic coated polyester fabric. They should last at least five years if not more!
As you can see, each banner will be red, white and blue with the words; Clinton Olde Glory Days and an image of the OGD mascot, Kaboom.
Now all we need is the sponsor’s name to go along the bottom of each banner. The 22x46 banners that will go around the Square are $175. The 28x62 banners that are placed on Second and Ohio streets are $225. This is a one-time fee and once again, we hope to use these banners for at least five years if not longer.
The banners we have used since 2009 are torn and falling apart so we will not use them again.
This offer for you to be a part of Olde Glory Days for years to come is on a first come, first served basis. Anyone can purchase one; a business, church, club, whatever. The OGD and Ambassadors committees does hold the right to refuse any purchase.
We will sell the large banners that will go up and down Ohio and Second streets and the small banners that will be placed around the Square. We will need to have your money in hand before we can order your banner.
If you have any questions; email, call or stop by the Chamber and we’ll help you out. Help celebrate the 4th of July in Clinton each year with the purchase of an Olde Glory Days banner.
