It's getting warmer outside which is usually the cue for outdoor activities to begin picking up. Lucky for Clinton, Missouri we have a few outdoor facilities open to the public during warmer weather to help with the summer boredom. This includes the beloved Artesian Outdoor Pool located on Hudson Street right between West Rogers and West Allen Streets. The Artesian Outdoor Pool offers aquatic programs, lap swimming, and free swims. They also have amenities such as concessions area, shade area, and an area to host parties. The pool is 164 feet long and is equipped with two drop slides in the deep end, a single large serpentine slide that drops off into the middle section of the pool, kiddie pool, as well as a splash pad. The pool is also surrounded by the well known Artesian Park that offers many different playgrounds for varying age groups which are spaced throughout the large park. The Outdoor Pool is open Monday and Wednesday 1-8 pm and Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1pm-5pm for Open Swim. Lap Swim is from 6-9am throughout the week in late July excluding Saturday and Sunday. Daily admission for ages 3 years and up is 4 dollars and children 2 and under swim for free. An All Season Pass per person is 300 dollars. Then if you plan to eat while at the pool bring extra money for concessions. The pool opens annually on Memorial Day weekend which falls on May 28th of this year.
