Chapter IU of the P.E.O. Sisterhood met at the Rotary Building Thursday, September 14th with Debbie Sieger serving as hostess. It was reported that Chapter E.N. of the P.E.O. Sisterhood has invited Chapter I.U. to join them for the International Convention report which will be held on Thursday, October 12th at 1:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Clinton.
Margaret Barr presented an informative and interactive program (see photo) on Cottey College and reported that the chapter has adopted a suite for October at the women’s college in Nevada, MO. Susan Scott reported that she sent our college-student sisters some back-to-school gifts on behalf of the Chapter. Thank you, Susan.
The October meeting will be held October 12, 2023, at 7 p.m. at the Rotary Building with Susie Wetzel and Lisa Wallace serving as co-hostesses. The program will be given by Judy McVeigh, Star Scholarship and Janet Akers, Educational Loan Fund.
