Pamela Marshall, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, aunt, friend, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on the morning of December 20, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on August 2, 1955, Pam dedicated her life to the unwavering love and support of her family and friends.
Pam had a heart that overflowed with compassion, and her love extended not only to people but also to animals. She was a devoted advocate for the welfare of animals, often going above and beyond to help stray or lost creatures that found their way to her doorstep. Her love for cats was especially profound, and she welcomed them into her home with open arms.
She is preceded in death by her father, grandmother, aunts, and cousins. Pam is survived by her mother, Bonnie Slaybaugh of Clinton, Missouri, her sister and brother-in-law, Tim and Trudy Anderson of Clinton, Missouri. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughters and their husbands, James and Amanda Long of Clinton, Missouri and Jake and Abby Bray of Independence, Missouri. Pam was a doting grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren, Alyssa Spangler, Chloe Long, and Bonnie Ladd, whom she loved immensely. She is also survived by cousins, niece Lacey Rudolph, and nephew Jesse Anderson of Clinton, Missouri.
Pamela Marshall’s spirit of love, kindness, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace.
The family will have a Celebration of Pam’s life at a later date to honor the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Inurnment was in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
