Mary Ruth Findley, age 85, of Clinton, Missouri went to be with Jesus peacefully on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri surrounded by her sons Bill, Jim and daughter in law Charla, her friends and Pastor Jim Brack and wife Diane.
Mary Ruth was born on February 10, 1938 in Brownington, Missouri. She graduated in 1956 from Deepwater High School.
She worked for Rival in Clinton, MO retiring from there. She also worked as an in-home caregiver for Four Seasons and Share and Care for many years.
She enjoyed crocheting, bingo, and going to the casino. She enjoyed taking care of others and had a very compassionate heart. She enjoyed her yearly trips to Oklahoma with her son “Bubba”.
She was a lifelong member of the Deepwater Baptist Church, VFW Post 1894 Auxiliary in Clinton, MO. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Clinton, MO, and recently received her commendation as a Golden Eagle.
Mary Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Clayton and Ruth Parks, her sister Beverly Robbins, and two infant brothers.
Survivors include her sons; William (Bubba) Rhoads, Jim Eversole and wife Charla, her sisters; Nola Johnson, Sharon Perry and Clayta Parks, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends.
Funeral services were held November 8, 2023 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, MO with Rev. James Brack officiating. Special music included “Farewell Party, Old Rugged Cross, and I Can Only Imagine.” The casket bearers were Ron Booker, Jonathan Eversole, Justin Eversole, Gary Powers, Larry Wilson, Ron Crowder and Mike Farmer. Interment followed in Maplewood Cemetery, Brownington, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
