The Clinton girls used a led 15-11 at the end of the first and used a big second quarter to surge ahead in a 55-32 win over Sherwood on the road last Monday night before going on their scheduled winter break.
A 12-4 margin in the second period gave the Lady Cardinals a 27-15 halftime lead and they wouldn't look back from there.
A 19-12 advantage in the third quarter stretched the Clinton lead to 44-26 and in the fourth, the Lady Cards cruised to the 55-32 victory.
Briley Wishard led Clinton with 20 points while Skyte Wilson and Mercedez Brown were also in double digits with 14 and 12, respetively.
