Jim Graef Memorial Golf Tournament Hosted By Urich Lions Club

The Urich Lions Club hosted the first Jim Graef Memorial Golf Tournament on October 8, 2022 at the Clinton Country Club. Jim Graef was an active member of the Lions Club for 34 years. He passed away September 24, 2021. It had been Jim’s vision for the Urich Lions Club to organize a golf tournament to raise funds to help support the club’s charitable causes.
Fifteen teams participated in the tournament. Prizes were awarded to the top two teams in two flights.
1st Flight: First place with a score of 64 was the team of Danny Eidson, Andy Hon, Sally Rude and LeAnne Salmon. Second place with a score of 65 was the team of Tom Browning, Mike Robb and Chris Thompson.
2nd Flight: First place with a score of 69 was the team of Josh LaFollette, Marcos Escalante, Cody Escalante and Eddie Lewis. Two teams tied for second place with scores of 70. Those teams were Justin Briggs, Richard Briggs, Tyler Garrett and Nate Manion; and Stan Taber, Terry Salmon, Mike Mills and Tony Bullock.
