Jackie Hess, age 81, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare after a short illness.
Jacqueline Ann (Jackie) Hess, beloved wife of George W. Hess, rural Clinton, Missouri was born on July 10, 1942 in Springfield, Missouri to James E. (Pete) and Geanelle Rhoten.
She is survived by her husband, George, of 53 years, one son Doug Julian (Rhonda) and one daughter, Kim Julian, both of Clinton, Missouri, six grandchildren; Lisa, Amber, Casey, Clayton, Erin, and Brittney, several nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
Jackie loved flowers, animals, feeding and watching the birds, and traveling many states with George. She will be sadly missed by all her family, many friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were held March 1, 2024 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with Pastor Brent Cloyd officiating. Special music included “Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art.” The casket bearers were Marvin Mothersbaugh, Bob Honn, John Cochran, Dane Perry, Troy Craig, Kenny Lawson, Kyle Comstock, Matt Lawson and Isiah Kretzmann. Interment followed in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
