Holy Rosary School Celebrates Catholic Schools Week

Posted

Students and staff of Holy Rosary enjoyed a fun week of activities to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. We had a Bible Bowl to test student’s knowledge of the Bible. Children visited us on Come and See Day to consider if they would like to attend our school next year. We had a Faith Rally each morning and sang and danced with Christian music. Each day of the week, the students dressed up instead of wearing their school uniform. They wore pajamas, Hawaiian, favorite sports, dressed as twins, and the 1970’s. We also had Buddy Day where older students were paired up with younger students to play games or make crafts.
Every class did a service project as well. Pre-K through second grades made Valentine cards. Third through sixth grades sang at local nursing homes and the Clinton Senior Center. Seventh and eighth grades sponsored a food drive. Students donated nonperishable foods that were delivered to the Samaritan Center. We finished the week with Mass, a delicious potluck dinner, and great fun playing bingo.
