For the first time in Clinton School District history, a CSD student signed to compete in the sport of archery at the collegiate level! Anna Hilty will attend Lindenwood University in the fall of 2023.
Hilty commented, “Coach Cole (Duensing) introduced me to archery, and was there early on to teach me the basics. He was also one of my coaches at Holy Rosary. Coach Marnie (Bellamy) was my head coach at Holy Rosary for many years who really helped me to improve. Finally, 1st Sergeant has been my coach in high school and has taught me so much! I just want to say that I’m extremely thankful for all of you and my parents supporting me all these years. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to continue my archery career in college!”
Hilty is the daughter of Joe and Tricia Hilty of Clinton.
