Have I Got A Line For You

Here’s another swell idea coming out of New York. The new
Manhattan District Attorney says he won’t prosecute certain crimes including theft, assault and drug procession. UNBELIEVABLE! I wonder if this DA had to swear an oath of office before he came into power? I’ve never heard of an oath of office that allows officials to circumvent the law and pick and choose which laws to enforce. San
Francisco, LA, Chicago, Milwaukee and Saint Louis…it’s not like we don’t know how this ends. Why have jails at all? Let lunacy rule!
Everyone can be both victim and perpetrator. Personal responsibility, what’s that? Maybe there’s something in the water in these cities that they’re all drinking.

Lots of hurrah about the anniversary of the January 6 riot at the
Capitol. President Biden says were in a “Battle for the soul of America” and that January 6 was a “Dagger at the throat of democracy.” He took
The Donald from pillar to post, blaming him for what happened. He can’t stop himself from talking about President Trump anymore than
The Donald can stop talking about himself and election fraud. Enough is enough! President Biden needs President Trump. Without him, he’d have no one else to blame for his self created disasters. What’s next?
They’ll probably want to tear down the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier and replace it with a statue of congress cowering behind their chairs from trespassing selfie takers.

Ran across a movie from 1941 last night, Sergeant York and enjoyed it. The film was based on the diary of Alvin York and chronicled his bravery and know how in World War 1. Sergeant York was from
Tennessee where many pioneers came to make a new home. A favorite line from the movie came when Alvin left for the Army. His sister asked his mother, “Maw, what are they a fightin’ for? The tiny old lady replied, “I don’t know. I don’t rightly know.”

Have a fine day and be a good example to others….unless you don’t feel like it. Either way, take care of yourself.
