Gary Alan Hibbs, age 66, of Clinton, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Clinton Healthcare & Rehab Center in Clinton, Missouri.
Gary Alan Hibbs was born on August 8, 1957 to Charles and Martha (Johnson) Hibbs in Independence, Missouri. On July 8, 1995 Gary married Linda Baxter, and was blessed with 28 years together.
Gary enjoyed karaoke, riding his motorcycle and his horse Bandy. He loved his cats and he loved a good cheeseburger. He worked for many years and later retired from Westwood Living Center as the Maintenance Supervisor.
Gary is preceded in death by his father, Charles Hibbs and his infant daughter Christina.
Survivors include his wife Linda Hibbs of the home, 5 children, Jason Hibbs, Andrea (Jason) Schmedding, Nathan (Winter) Hibbs, Errin Ellis, and Marcus Hibbs, 8 grandchildren, Jason (JJ) Hibbs II, Gabriel Hibbs, Charles Schmedding, Lainey Schmedding, Talon Ellis, Tucker, Ellis, Quinn Burton, and Elijah Hibbs, his mother Martha Hibbs, 3 brothers, Don Hibbs, Bill Hibbs, and John Hibbs, his sister Betty Hibbs and many fur babies.
A Celebration of Life was held March 2, 2024 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with Rev. David Mills officiating. Special music included “Don’t Let the Old Man In, If You Get There Before I Do and Happy Trails.”
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
