BUSY GEARING UP for another successful season, the Lady Cardinals took advantage of perfect weather and field conditions throughout last week. Girls worked many fundamentals, along with many individual and team drills. Monday marked the first official day of practices for fall sports following the required dead week period per MSHSAA. Lady Cardinals softball will look to improve on a 12-15 record from a year ago. Their season will get underway on Saturday, August 26 with the Lady Pirate Leadoff Classic. Their first home contest will be on the following Monday, August 28, when Clinton hosts Lexington.
