The CHS Volleyball team attended the Eldo summer tournament last week. Both JV and varsity teams played numerous games against other schools from the state of Missouri. The girls played great, and got to work on different skills for the upcoming season.
Summer tournaments are great for the team to develop teamwork and get used to new roles or positions that some girls are trying.
The NWMSU volleyball camp was a great opportunity for the girls. Every player learned new skills and incorporated them in the following games.
Overall the girls finished the camp with a record of 6-2. Coach Herrera was very impressed with the performance of the team. The girls all implemented their newly acquired skills over the course of the 3-day tournament.
