Beryl F. Day

Beryl F. Day went on to eternal rest at the age of 93 on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at Clinton Healthcare and Rehab Center, Clinton, Missouri.
Beryl was born on March 24, 1930 to Floyd and Cora Martin. She was the next to the youngest of 4 children. She attended a small country school in Edwards, Mo.
Beryl was united in marriage to Walter Harvey Day and began a family. She worked at Rivals until an unfortunate accident and then graciously moved into the role of full time parenting and later grand parenting. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, and sewing. Her greatest joy was her family. Beryl was a member of the Church of the Brethren. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary as well as a member of The Eagles Club.
She never met a stranger and always had room in heart and at her table for one more.
Beryl is preceded in death by her mother Cora and her father Floyd, Her husband Walter, Brother Earl Martin, and Her sister Nina Flippin.
Leaving to honor and cherish her memory is her sister Normalee Martin of Eugene, OR, 3 Sons Jerry Day (Johnnie Sue) of Clinton, MO, Randy Day (Sheila) of Richmond, MO, David Day (Sylvia) of Clinton, MO, 1 daughter, Patricia Hunter (Jack) of Clinton, MO. 6 granddaughters, Janna and her husband Brett, Jaime and her husband Jeremy, Jacque and her husband Robert, Jennie and her husband Phillip, Latasha, and LaKesha. 2 Grandsons AJ Day and his wife Samantha, Anthony Day and his wife Miranda, along with numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held November 25, 2023 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, MO with Rev. Mashawn Parks officiating. The musical selections included “Amazing Grace” and “Precious Lord, Take My Hand.” The casket bearers were Logan Huggins, Anthony Day, Jaydn Wilson, Brett Huggins, Dillyn Berschauer and A.J. Day. Bruce Shockley and Gregory Wilson were honorary bearers. Beryl was laid to rest in Bethel Campground Cemetery, Edwards, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
