The Benton County Soil and Water Conservation District’s Coloring and Poster Contest awards ceremony was held on October 26, at Lincoln High School.
Cash awards and goody bags were presented to the place winners and special goody bags were presented to the honorable mention winners. There were 848 entries this year and it was a tough group to judge.
There were 44 out of 77 winners who attended the ceremony to receive their awards with about 200 total in attendance. This year’s theme, "One Water", let the poster creators depict watersheds and the water cycle.
