Windsor Lanes has began installing new pinsetting equipment at the 605 N. Main St. facility.
The bowling alley which had operated in Windsor since 1962 closed in 2020 because of COVID restrictions. In 2023, Anton Berthelsen purchased Windsor Lanes from former owner, Tim Eshleman, with plans to renovate Windsor Lanes as a first-class bowling alley.
Anton Berthelsen, the owner, and Roy Hampton were refinishing the hard rock maple floor in June, 2024 as they updated the bowling equipment to meet the standards of the bowling congress.
After new pin setting equipment arrived iin Decemberfr, 2024, renovation work continues at Windsor Lanes with plans to open the bowling alley in the near future.
