Twilight Garden Club has announced the “Yard of the Month” for August/September is the lovely home of Fred and Carolyn McAllister, 1103 Country Club Drive, Clinton.
The well manicured yard has a variety of shrubs but the main vocal point is the front sidewalk which is lined with boxwoods, hydrangeas, azaleas, arborvitaes, creeping phlox, and a flowering crabapple . The front door and under the front window are graced with gorgeous pots of bubblegum pink petunias.
Red geraniums, blue fescue, and clematis are companions to the mail box and the Flag Pole in the front drive. On the other side of the drive is a beautiful Ash tree surrounded by an assortment of hostas.
The side of the home is a variety of blooming roses, crepe myrtles, hyacinth bean vine, day lillies and spirea shrub.
