The AC Spring City Wide Garage Sale dates are set for April 28 & 29. Permits are $5 and can be purchased at City Hall beginning Monday, April 10, through noon on Wednesday April 26. Permits to set up in the AC Park are $25 for the pole shelter, $15 for the stage, $10 for lawn permits and these fees cover both days. Park permits can also be purchased at City Hall on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved by phone. Maps will be available at Food Fair, Casey’s, Fika & Powell’s True Value beginning Thursday afternoon. House of Joy Ministry will be at the City Park Saturday from 3:00-5:00 to pick up donations. The 2023 Ellett Memorial Hospital Community Block Party will be Saturday, September 30, starting at 9:00 a.m. While they will still have some of the regular events, they would like to add more vendors. If you, or anyone you know, are interested in having a booth, please contact Kim Raybourn at 660-476-5236. This would also be a great opportunity for school fundraising! The FFA BBQ Team has plans to attend. If any other school affiliated group would like to do the same, they would love to have you!

The 19th Annual Appleton City Car Show will be July 8 in the City Park, right off 52 Hwy across the street from Zink Motor Company. Check in 8:00 a.m.-noon. Car Show noon-3:00 p.m. This is a judged event. There is a $10 entry fee, with proceeds going to two $1000 scholarships for local high school students. Top 70 cars and trucks combined, top 3 motorcycles, and top 3 rat rods.
The ACHS FCCLA will host a Blood Drive Monday, May 1, 2023 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. in the Elementary Gym.
