The Cardinals have won 26 State team medals (1st - 4th) over the years; the first in 1933 (Boys track) and the last was in 2007 (Boys Wrestling and Baseball).
The last team to make it to the State Tournament was the 2021-22 (Girls Basketball).
There have been two teams crowned State Champions: XC Girls, 1993, and Boys Wrestling 1991.
Sixteen of the 26 medals were won in the 1990's. Many feel the Cardinals might be poised for another run at State in several sports.

Boys Tennis: 3rd Place, 1985.
Boys Golf: 3rd Place, 1937, 1990, 2004, 4th Place 1996.
Track Boys: 2nd Place 1970, 3rd Place, 1933, 1969, 1999.
Track Girls: 3rd Place 1994, 4th Place 1993.
XC Boys: 2nd Place 1998, 3rd Place 1997, 1999.
XC Girls: 1st Place 1993, 3rd 1991, 1999, 4th 1992, 2000.
Wrestling (Boys): 1st Place 1991, 3rd, 1990, 1992, 4th 1994, 2007.
