SFCC Theatre Arts To Present "The 39 Steps (Abridged)"

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Theatre Arts program will present “The 39 Steps (Abridged)” at 7:30 pm Feb. 29 to March 2 and March 9, at 2 pm March 3 and 10, and 10 am on March 8. The new 60-minute stage adaptation by Patrick Barlow, is a comedy mystery based on John Buchan’s novel. The production will be at Thompson O’Sullivan Studio Theatre on the Sedalia campus. The dinner theatre will be at 6:30 p.m. March. 2. The play is directed by Tim Wells, SFCC Theatre Instructor & Technical Director.
“The 39 Steps” is a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theater. This two-time Tony and Drama Desk award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, with dozens of zany characters racing across the British Isles.
Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at SFCCTheatre.Eventbrite.com or by calling the Box Office at (660) 530-5814 from 2-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. SFCC students and employees may reserve tickets for performances at no cost in the Box Office. Dinner theatre tickets for Saturday, March 2 cost $13 per person.
