The Henry County Library is pleased to announce that the Friends of the Library Community Room will reopen to the public on Saturday, April 1st. The Friends Room has undergone extensive refurbishments over the winter months including a complete texturization and repainting of the walls, ceilings, doors, and trim. Contemporary flooring has been installed in the meeting area, kitchen, and restroom. Additionally, the pass-through countertop, blinds, and outlet covers have been updated, and new artwork has been added to the décor. The Friends of the Library Group assisted with the purchase of new tables to complete the improvements. The modernized accommodations will provide a welcoming environment for events such as family gatherings and business meetings.
The library is very appreciative of the newly renovated space and asks that those utilizing the room make every effort to keep it in excellent condition for the benefit of the community.
