Alyssa Mellen had a big three and a free throw in overtime among her game high 26 points in Lincoln's 46-41 victory at LaMonte on Thursday night. It was 39 all at the end of regulation as Lincoln couldn't get a shot off in the final ten seconds of play.
Lincoln led 15-13 after one, 23-22 at the half and it was knotted up at 33-33 after three quarters. Lincoln hit all four of their free throws in overtime.

The overtime victory was short lived for the varsity Lady Cardinals as they hosted 21-2 Northwest on Friday night at Homecoming in Lincoln.
The large crowd saw the girls go down in defeat as Northwest won going away, 64-15. Northwest's only losses are to high powered Tipton.
