Have I Got A Line For You!

We’ve been told repeatedly by the President, “There is no inflation.” Two weeks ago we were supposed to believe that Bidenomics was keeping everything even keeled for us. Now he understands inflation is killing the middle class. Uncle Joe says don’t blame him for inflation, it’s because businesses haven’t reduced their prices. Sounds simple enough, especially coming from someone who’s been on the public payroll for over 50 years. Having been alive during the Carter Presidency, I see almost the same parallels to the Biden Presidency, right down to Biden’s fear of Iran. The only difference is that President Carter is remembered as a descent guy who lacked what it took to be president. Biden will be remembered as a corrupt guy who lacked what it took to be president.

Speaking of Presidents, a New York Judge reinstated a gag order against The Donald. Isn’t it amazing how a court of law can prohibit the United States Constitution, the highest law in the land? It would be the same as banning a defendant from practicing their religion. It’s in the very same First Amendment. If freedom of speech is taken away, then we’ll be led away like sheep to the slaughter house. Get in the cattle cars! Oligarchs do this. They decide. Just ask Merrick Garland, he works for one.

During dinner at Sister Julie’s on Saturday the discussion drifted to Max (Schnauzer). The little devil is fresh out of another round of obedience school and I was told, “He might behave better if he wasn’t treated like a human.” We had lots of dogs growing up. Bozo the Saint Bernard, Resa a German Shepherd and Gus that was a mix of something. I was only bitten once and it wasn’t my dog. It belonged to my grandparents and was a big Irish setter named Dugan. Lord only knows where he came from or where he’d been. My Grandfather Murphy found him in a trash box in the garage, hungry and shaking. He was unstable to say the least. One night I was walking up their driveway and Dugan gave a low growl, then sprang and got at me leg. Grandmother heard the commotion and ordered him to “back off” and he did. It was an evening I wouldn’t care to repeat and involved stitches. I still have the scar. Dugan was disposed of and that was the end of that. Hope to see all of our dogs again, in the hereafter, but I wouldn’t want to meet up with Dugan, unless Grandma Murphy is along.

Speaking of the hereafter, there’s a theory about a duplicate universe along with ours, but with an energy frequency so high we cannot see or enter it. Occasionally a breakthrough comes as a brief gift. Perhaps this is so. Most of us who have lost loved family members have flashes of insight where we know they are near. Who knows? This universe of ours is vast and intricate. It’s up to us to make our way through life’s labyrinth of days and nights and be thankful for the special people and animals we meet on the way.

That’s enough of that. Take care of yourself right here in this dimension Old Buddy. It’s pretty good and Christmas is just around the corner.
