Lots going on. The 31 year old “Crypto King” charged with swindling billions from investors had is bail revoked. Sam Bankman-Fried wasn’t jailed for the crime he committed, but a love letter to his ex-girlfriend.
The whole world is upside down. He never should have been under house arrest anyway, even though he paid for the privilege with big political contributions ahead of time.

The wildfires in Maui have been a devastating thing to watch. More than 100 people dead and many in shelters. Oprah tried to visit one of them with a camera crew. A local official prevented this from happening. I’m surprised she didn’t do a TV interview on a sofa amongst the burned out rubble. At least someone had the good sense to tell her no. Last thing I’d want is a celebrity traipsing around after losing everything and asking how I am with a camera in my face.

Well, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed the man who’s already in charge of investigating Hunter Biden to be an “Independent Counsel” in charge of investigating Hunter Biden. Not sure how that makes him independent. David Weiss was the prosecutor that wanted to let Hunter off on Federal charges. We all know where this movie is going to end. A pre-determined happy ending for the Biden Crime Family, that’s where.
Since Hunter made the news another indictment of The Donald was sure to follow and it did. This one in Fulton County Georgia which is about as corrupt as Cook County Illinois. Before the Grand Jury could finish deliberating, the Prosecutor put the indictment on the website…..then retracted it saying she, “Had no idea how that happened.” Hours later the same indictment was re-posted.
UNBELIEVABLE!

Funny what pops in your mind from time to time. In the backyard of the Enterprise Building there used to be heavy metal box attached to the top of a fairly tall stump. It contained portulaca (moss rose) and next to it big peonies that grew just in time for Memorial Day. My Grandmother would take them to decorate graves. The cemetery would be full of visitors paying respects and stopping at family headstones.
Though maybe, at one grave, somebody would look at the stone and remark, “That’s old so and so”…..not too audibly, of course.
