Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that it has increased its capacity to provide immediate availability for nephrology patients through telehealth services.
GVMH can assist nephrology patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), polycystic kidney disease, diabetic neuropathy, kidney failure and kidney stones on a phone or video call. The nephrology specialists can also monitor kidney function on a routine basis and watch for baseline changes. In addition, the GVMH team can watch blood pressure and adjust medications as needed, provide extensive renal studies and tests, and offer referrals for dialysis treatment or transplant.
“We are delighted to be able to expand our accessibility for nephrology patients so they can get the care they need when they need it, and closer to home” said Race Kastl, Oncology Services and Interim Outpatient Treatment Center Director.
