The weather has been good this week and people are getting some seeds in the ground for gardens. Dean Arnett has some lettuce seeds planted and has checked the Almanac for when he can do his radishes, onions and potatoes. He has already put out some onion plants but has plans for quite a few more. Dean and I made a trip to Barnett to stock up on seeds and plants needed for gardening time. After shopping at Morgan County Seed Company we then spent some time at the Dutch Country Store. Dean then spent some time visiting long time friend Curtis Allen at Good Shepherd Nursing facility! When we headed home, we stopped at Hoover's Bulk Food Store and had sandwiches made at the deli counter! A really good day!

On Sunday afternoon, Adam, Bridget and Laney Arnett, had a birthday party for Madalyn, celebrating her 16th birthday which is Monday, February 26. Randy, Heather, and Ryleigh came down from Kearney and many of Bridget's family and Maddie's friends from school came and helped her have a really nice celebration.
Prayers needed this week for: Mary Brown, Jesse Crouch, Kathy First, Amber First, Connie Newkirk, Carolee Apperson, Lewis and Judy Retherford, Gladys Harris, Curtis Allen and Mary Scarbrough!

We have some notes from Gracie Yoder from Jeffrey's Baa: South Africa. Gracie never misses one time of telling how wonderful the place is and how beautiful it looks. She is so proud of the work The Lord has led her and her other teammates to take part in. Gracie is learning new foods and how they can be fixed, as well as being encouraged as she will be moving to a different locale before long. Please remember Gracie and her teammates in your prayers!

Happy Birthday shoutout to Brenda Hilburn from Garrett, Wyett and Breyer, and her mom!

Fristoe Pentecostal Lighthouse Church was short on numbers but Claude and The Lighthouse Singers did a great job on "God On The Mountain". The adult Sunday School lesson was the last lesson in this months unit which was entitled The Church. The lesson covered Acts Chapter 15 and really brought out the importance of fellowship and prayer in the coming together of church attendees. Br. Smith brought his message from Matthew Chapter 15 and encouraged all of the listeners that God can do anything. Never lose hope; always hold out total hope that God can do it!

Thought for the week: The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God my strength, in whom I will trust, the horn of my Salvation, and my high tower!

Here is hoping everyone who reads Fristoe News has a wonderful week, full of winning games and bringing home much earnings!
