The weather has been pretty nice the last week with the exception of rain but this area needed moisture so there wasn't complaints. When watching Agriculture (RFD) channel on Dish it has been showing for the last month that our area is slipping more and more into a drought area! Hopefully the rain that came this week and the moisture that is supposed to fall the next few days will eliminate some of that dryness!

Prayer requests for this week: Delores Prater in Lincoln Healthcare, also Lovely Henderson, Kathy First, Jeanne Wright, Carolee Apperson, Donna Nelson. Lewis and Judy Retherford, Easter Willis, Gladys Harris, Curtis Allen, Mary Scarbrough, and families in our church have relatives that they would like people to say prayers for them. Thank you to everyone that keeps prayers said from our list!

Gracie Yoder sends a short note nearly every week about the team and things they are doing. She also shows picture, some are really interesting looking. One for instance shows her with a whole very large bunch of bananas on her back! Some of the pictures shows the Gracie and the whole team are enjoying the work they are doing for The Lord! Please keep Gracie and her team in your Prayers!

Paster and Sunday School Superintendent were expecting numbers to be down Sunday morning December 24 as people might be visiting families but amazing though it was Fristoe Pentecostal Lighthouse had several visitors and though there were several absents visitors kept the numbers up nice. The Sunday School lesson was The Birth of Jesus! Matthew chapter 1 and chapter 2. Specials were sang by Claude and The Lighthouse Singers, Go Tell It On The Mountain, Sis. Sue sang a special as did Br. Ken. He sang Beautiful Star of Bethlehem with the help of Brenda, DoBee, and Br. Tony. Then Br. Dave did a great job on Holy, Holy, Holy! It was a beautiful service and Br. Smith's message was found in Joshua chapter 10 and 11. Many things were spoken of that is being spoken on the news right now, particular the land of Gaza!

Thought for the week: A person wrapped up in their self makes a very small package!

Hope each and every person has a safe and Blessed coming week with the New Year giving all God's Best!
