Francis Leroy Brown, age 80, of Raymore, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 in Raymore, Missouri.
Francis was born on October 7, 1942 in Humansville, Missouri to Edgar and Lela (Bullinton) Brown. He worked in construction in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Then raised cattle, raced quarter horses and owned a horse farm in Vian, Oklahoma. Later He owned a painting business for many years starting in the mid 80’s.
Francis is preceded in death by his parents Edgar Amos Brown and Lela Marie (Bullinton) Brown, two brothers Clarence Brown and Eugene Brown.
Survivors include his 4 children; Larry Brown, Leroy Brown, Twila Murphy, and Amy Courson Peltier King, 4 grandchildren; Ian Murphy, Savannah Murphy, Siera Murphy and Austin Peltier, 4 great grandchildren; Adalynn Murphy, Piper Murphy, Penelope Murphy and Trey Murphy, one brother Gerald Brown along with a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life was held September 21, 2023 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with Rev. Bob Fenwick officiating. Special music included “Circle Be Unbroken, Wheel In the Sky and Against the Wind.”
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
