Denzel G. Worth, age 85, of Deepwater, Missouri passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 at his home. He was born on February 2, 1939 in Carroll County, Missouri the son of Glen Worth and Ann (Lakey) Worth.
Denny grew up in Carroll County and graduated from Tina High School. He went on to serve his country in the United States Army, fighting as a part of the 82nd Airborne. After his honorable discharge he moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he was employed as a painter for Ford Motor Company. In 1994 he retired and moved to Deepwater, Missouri where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening and quilting.
Denny was a member of the Autoworkers Union of Kansas City, the Masonic Lodge in Liberty, Missouri and the Eagles Lodge of Clinton, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte Worth, who has been his companion and best friend for the past twenty-six years, two children; Randy Worth (Michelle) and Kimberly Kennedy (John), all of Kansas City, Missouri, three stepchildren; Rebecca Blevins (Dee), of Lowry City, Missouri, Margaret Parmalee (Dennis), of Clinton, Missouri, and Tonya Campbell (Wesley), of Clinton, three grandchildren; Nick, Ashley and Bryce, two great grandchildren; Rodney and Dawson, ten step grandchildren; Raymond (Trishan) Blevins, of Bentonville, Arkansas, Amy (Jared) Kottwitz, of Osceola, Missouri, Kayla Blevins, of Lowry City, Missouri, Schaelyn Blevins (Josh), of Lowry City, Missouri, Joseph (Janelle) Parmalee, of Osceola, Missouri, Ashley Blackaby (Eric), of Clinton, Missouri, Casey Parmalee, of Kansas, Desirae Parmalee of Iowa, Courtney Campbell, of Clinton, Missouri, Aaron Campbell, of Clinton, Missouri, seventeen step great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and his special companions, his dog “Patches” and his cat “Spook.”
Arrangements for his cremation are under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw.
