Thanks to a true community effort, Clinton Intermediate School has a new rock wall!
Last spring, Physical Education teacher, Gina Johannsen applied for and was awarded a Cash for Classrooms Grant from Casey’s. This $6,176 grant was used to purchase a rock wall. Over the summer, this wall was shipped to CIS, and employees from Hawthorn Bank and Austin Construction and Concrete LLC recently spent their time and talent installing the wall in the CIS gym. The students are so excited to use the wall for a variety of fitness-related activities!
