We extend our Sympathy and Christian love to the family and friends of Chris Allen who passed into the arms of Jesus this week. Others on the prayer list are Linda & Doug Cooper, Brenda Hunter, Macayla Lowe, Jaden & baby, the Burson family. We continue to pray for those suffering in Ukraine and those who are trying to get them relief. Closer to home; prayers were said for those in the southern states where lives were lost and property damaged. Clinton Church of the Nazarene
What a wonderful day to be in the house of the Lord.
David Page led us in the opening service. We sang hymns of praise.
Pastor asked, “Do you believe?” What do you believe? Let the Spirit move you. Verses from Matthew, Luke and Romans were highlighted int he message. And Pastor also used verses from other books of the Bible to further enlighten the message. John 3-16: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on Him would be saved. Praise the Lord.
We thank each person for coming to worship here today. We pray that you received a rich blessing by being here and that you will come again. See you in Church?

He is not here, He is risen! What a wonderful surprise for Mary, as described in John 20: 11-18. In these passages, three surprises to Mary occur: 1) she finds the tomb is empty, 2) she realizes Jesus is alive, and 3) lives are forever transformed because of this miraculous event. On Easter Sunday, members and guests were reminded of how, despite our sadness and suffering, God is near the brokenhearted. He puts things back together. He makes all things new. And He is still transforming lives. What is even better than Him beside us in the Holy Spirit in us! We need Jesus to save us, but we must first accept Him as our Lord to receive His gift of salvation.
Disaster Relief training will be held April 14-15 at First Baptist Church. Registration is available online at modr.org/dr-training. On a beautiful Sunday morning we celebrated our risen Savior! Our hearts were filled with gratitude for the gift of Jesus Christ who lived, died and rose again to save us from our sins. He offers the gift of eternal life if only we will accept it asking him to be our savior. A beautiful celebration with singing was enjoyed by all as our choir presented an Easter Cantata. The auditorium was decorated with lovely Easter lillies given in honor or memory of loved ones and friends. Prior to our worship service a delicious brunch was enjoyed by many.
The past week was a busy one as we held several services for Holy Week. A Maundy Thursday Service & Communion, a 12:00 noon Good Friday Service, Easter Sunday Easter Brunch at 9:30 am and finally an Easter Worship service at 10:30 am completing the week.
The deodorant collection for the Samaritan Center continues throughout the months of March and April. Donations are increasing for this mission project. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be a part of this effort to give back to our community. Please place your donations on the shelves in the foyer.

“It is Finished, but it is not Over”
Satan tries to get people to ignore Resurrection Sunday because he lost.
He thought he had Jesus defeated when Jesus went to the cross, but Jesus defeated death.
Easter is a pagan holiday with colored eggs and bunnies. We want to focus on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our hope is in the resurrection. We should let God know how much we appreciate what he went through and what he has done for us. He didn’t have to do it.
John 19:28-30. After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. (KJV)
Jesus went through stressful times that week.
Mat 26:36-38. (KJV)
There are times when we feel burdened in our situation, and we need someone to pray with us. Jesus knew the time drew near, and soon the men would come for him.
The disciples fell asleep, and Jesus asked them if they could not stay awake to pray for one hour? We must learn how to pray our way through life, so we can be strong.
Satan thought this would be the end for Jesus as he went through arrest, questioned, beaten, and finally the cross.
Joh 18:36-37. (KJV)
The soldiers mocked Jesus by placing a crown of thrones on his head and mockingly bowing down before him, calling him king. They don’t know that, one of these days, they will bow down before him.
1Co 15:12-14. Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. (KJV)
Luk 24:6-7: He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. (KJV)
Our hope is in the resurrection. Hold on to hope. When we die the physical death, it is not over yet. Judgement day is still to come. God Bless.

We are an open and affirming church and welcome all to come and worship with us next Sunday morning!
We continue our prayers of love and healing for our dear church members who are facing health issues. We pray for the families of the Ukraine who are fighting for all the world.
It was a busy day for our church. It began as we hosted the Lowry City Community Sunrise Services at 6 am. We then had a big country breakfast in our fellowship hall followed by an exciting Easter Egg hunt!
Emily Neuenschwander and Charlie McDaniel lit the altar candles as our choir sang, “At the Cross” to begin our worship service.
On this very special Resurrection Sunday, our message was one of hope, love and joy. It was a day filled with excitement and celebration as we discovered the empty tomb.
Now is the time for churches to open their doors wide and welcome all to come and hear God’s message of love and hope. As believers, we are called to be witnesses of the resurrection and share the good news to all of the world. It is an opportunity for each of us to serve others and have the courage to make the changes that will make a positive difference.
On this powerful day of celebration of Jesus’ conquer over death, our hearts are filled with hope and joy as we proclaim that just as he lives, we live.
It is God’s love that protects and comforts us. No matter what is going on in our lives, God is with us. It is His promise to us.
