CCA Celebrates "Bring Your Bible To School Day"

Clinton Christian Academy participated in the “Bring Your Bible to School Day” on Thursday, October 5. This event is sponsored by the Focus on the Family organization (https://www.focusonthefamily.com/bring-your-bible/). Information was sent out to all Bible Teachers from Preschool-12th Grades with various discussion questions and ideas for this special event that could be utilized in the classroom. Building principals visited classrooms and spent a few minutes with each class discussing the importance of this day and led class discussions regarding many different topics including the following: (1) Is ALL of the Bible true? (2) Who wrote the Bible? (3) Why should we read and know about the Bible? (4) Why should we share God’s word with others? (4) Where can we share God’s word? (5) How can we share Jesus and salvation with other people? (6) Why should we share the gospel with others? (7) Who exactly should I share God’s word with? (8) Role play how you can talk about Jesus, your faith, and salvation to a friend.
Teachers, support staff, principals and students shared their personal Bibles from home during this special day of “Bible Celebration”. A count of Bibles at each grade level was taken. A display in the hallway featured the number of Bibles in each classroom and the GRANT TOTAL of 160 Bibles brought to school from home on Oct 5! We are blessed beyond measure to have the freedoms we have to pray, read God’s Word, and worship the Lord without fear of retribution in our country and in our school. May we never forget the opportunity we have in America to share the gospel. For more information about Clinton Christian Academy, check out our website at www.clintonacademy.org or call 660-890-2111.
