Cardinals football, which showed guts and grit as they persevered through what is now a 1-win season after losing on the road to undefeated Center last Friday, leave the regular season with positives to build on despite their record.
Unfortunately for the Cardinals, despite week-to-week improvements, the team ends the regular season with an overall record of 1-8, as undefeated Center (9-0) sent the Cardinals home 55-8.
Clinton will now face Buffalo on the road this Friday night in the opening round of Class 3 District 6 play. That game is set for 7:00pm in Dallas County.
