Bernadine Helen Goth, age 95, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 at her home in Clinton, Missouri.
Bernadine “Bernie” as she was known was born on July 29, 1929 in Urich, Missouri to Clarence and Luella Gieselman. In 1947 she married Vancil Lee Goth and they enjoyed 63 years together and were blessed with 7 children.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, her son Jerry and brother Dale, son in laws, Bob Shook, Mike Simmons, and Rex Smith.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Darrel and Rose Goth and Van and Sharon Goth, four daughters, Cathy Shook, Norma Simmons, Doris Smith and Karen and Gary Baker. She is also survived by a sister, “Sister” Madonna Gieselman and a daughter in law Kay Goth, twenty grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Bernie was a cook at Holy Rosary Catholic School for over 25 years and was well known for delicious sweet rolls. She was also known as a loving, caring person with a heart of gold. She made her priorities her faith and her family. She is loved and missed by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held November 5, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Clinton, MO with Father James Taranto officiating. Inurnment followed in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
