An Evening Of Christmas Music

Posted

The 28th annual program of German Christmas music will be presented on Sunday evening, December 3, at 7:00 PM, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cole Camp
The concert will feature the German Singers of Cole Camp.
During the concert the audience will be given the opportunity to join with the performers in singing several familiar carols which will also include some verses in English. In celebration of our German heritage, several beautiful German carols which are seldom heard in America will be included in the program, as well as the familiar carols such as Stille Nacht and O du fröhliche. The German carols were sung each Christmas in our churches for many years.
Following the concert, refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall. The time spent in the fellowship hall, feasting on Christmas delicacies and goodies, has become very popular and the perfect ending to an evening of fellowship and great music. There is no admission charge--it’s all free for your enjoyment.
The Cole Camp German Club, sponsor of this event, cordially invites the public to attend this Christmas celebration and join us for refreshments following the concert.
