Billy D. Allen earned his 50-year-pin as a member of the Clinton Masonic Lodge No. 548 at a recent ceremony. He became an “entered apprentice mason” on April 18, 1972. He earned his Fellow Craft degree in October 1972, and then was raised to a Master Mason on November 28, 1972. He served in the US Army during the Korean conflict from 1951 to 1954 and served in the Army Reserve from 1955 to 1962. Billy and his wife, Marcille, still live on their farm north of Clinton. His wife and two of his five daughters and their husbands attended the 50-year pin ceremony.
