Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were already able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests

 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made six arrests and took multiple reports during the week of June 1st, 2021 through June 7th, 2021.

Patterson, Daryl - On June 1st, Daryl Patterson, 32, Independence, was arrested in Jackson County for a St. Clair County Failure to Appear Warrant for an original charge of Non-Support - Total Arrears in Excess of 12 Monthly Payments Due Under Order of Support. Daryl was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $300.00 cash only.

 

Daehler, John - On June 1st, John Daehler, 27, Blue Springs, was arrested in Cass County for a St. Clair County warrant on a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. John was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $2,500.00 cash or surety.

 

Cochran, Trica - On June 3rd, Trica Cochran, 46, Osceola, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on two Failure to Appear warrants out of Lafayette County. Trica was held at the St. Clair County Jail pending transport, and the bond was set at $260.00 cash only.

 

Jackson, Melissa - On June 3rd, Melissa Jackson, 21, Clinton, was arrested by Henry County Deputies on a St. Clair County Failure to Appear warrant for an original charge of Operating a Vehicle on Highway Without a Valid License. Melissa was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $73.00 cash only.

 

Burroughs, Virgil - On June 4th, Virgil Burroughs, 26, Appleton City, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a St. Clair County Warrant charging him with a Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and a Misdemeanor charge of Domestic Assault - 4th Degree - 1st or 2nd Offense. The bond was set at $10,000.00 cash or surety.

 

Sharp, Jacqueline - On June 4th, Jacqueline Sharp, 39, Kansas, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Jacqueline was booked and released, pending formal charges.

 

Wetzel, Megan - On June 5th, Megan Wetzel, 42, Leeton, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy on a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and a Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Amphetamine or Methamphetamine. Megan was booked and released, pending formal charges.

 

Taylor, Alyssa - On June 6th, Alyssa Taylor, 28, Warsaw, was arrested by a St. Clair County Deputy on a Henry County Failure to Appear Misdemeanor warrant. Alyssa was held at the St. Clair County Jail, pending transport, and the bond was set at $250.00 cash or surety. 

 

Harjo, Terry - On June 7th, Terry Harjo, 41, Flemington, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy at the Courthouse on a Felony Failure to Appear Warrant. Terry was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and held on a Capias Bond (No Bond).

 

McCowin, Wesley - On June 7th, Wesley McCowin, 20, Nevada, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy at the County Courthouse on a Vernon County warrant for a Felony charge of Stealing/Larceny/Theft. Wesley was transported to the St. Clair County Jail, and the bond was set at $5,000.00 cash only.

 

Saunders, James - On June 7th, James Saunders, 45, Kansas City, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy at the County Courthouse on a St. Clair County warrant for a Felony charge of Fraudulent Use of Credit/Debit Device. James was transported to the St. Clair County Jail, and the bond was set at $3,000.00, 10% cash.

 

Weld, Richard - On June 7th, Richard Weld, 34, Lee's Summit, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy at the County Courthouse on a Lee's Summit warrant for a Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Amphetamine or Methamphetamine. Richard was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $5,000.00, 10% Cash.

Burglary in Roscoe

 

On June 3rd, a St. Clair County deputy responded to Appleton Street in Roscoe, in reference to a Burglary. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim, who reported that person(s) unknown entered their garage between the days of May 31st and June 3rd, and stole a black and yellow in color Champion Generator. A canvass of the area, alongside photographs and a report were completed by the deputy. The total value of loss was estimated at $400.00.
