Joseph Matthew Albin, 53, also known as “Nikki Blades” of Clinton, Missouri has been sentenced to spend the remainder of his life in prison without the possibility of parole for forcible rape.
Albin had previously been found guilty of other sexual assault cases as well as the felony of conspiracy to commit murder. Because of the nature of his prior criminal convictions, Prosecuting Attorney LaChrisha Gray charged Albin as a predatory and persistent sex offender.
As previously reported, on March 2, 2023, Albin was found guilty after a trial as charged.
Due to the court’s finding that Albin is a persistent sex offender, the law required the Court to sentence Albin to imprisonment for life without the possibility of parole, which the Court did on May 26, 2023.
Prosecuting Attorney Gray stated, “This defendant has been preying on girls in our community for far too long. He is a dangerous predator and it’s only appropriate that he will finally spend the rest of his life in prison where he cannot hurt another young lady again.”
