Piccadilly Fundraiser Scores Large Crowd

Posted

Clinton Main Street hosted their 2021 Piccadilly Gridiron Gala Sunday, September 12th. The gates opened at 11:30, and guests immediately streamed in. In true tailgate style the guests were treated to a delicious meal of tacos, brats, brisket, and desserts catered by Powell Meats. The Clinton Elks Lodge hosted the event and had some wonderful specialty drinks available. The action started off with a cornhole competition sponsored by Atkins printing. Kathy Shoemaker took home the prize for most accurate toss! The Piccadilly auction started at 1 pm on the dot, and emcee Larry Dawson did an excellent job keeping it moving. The grand prize winner of the afternoon was Debbie Ehrman! She and a guest will enjoy a trip to Las Vegas plus $250 cash sponsored by Hawthorn Bank. After over $13000 in prizes were given away, everyone headed out just in time to catch the Chiefs kickoff! Clinton Main Street would like to extend their gratitude to their sponsors, committee members, and attendees. This is the organizations biggest fundraiser each year and allows them focus on their mission to preserve and promote downtown Clinton.
Our next Main Street event will be held on October 23, 2021! The ever popular “Wine Stroll” is back, and tickets are on sale now at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/170324149115.
