My wife is Lori (Mrs Lori from Clinton Intermediate School), son Dakota (wife Ashley), and daughter Makenna Hix (husband Jarrod) and soon to arrive baby Hix.

Henry County Clerk
EDUCATION:
I graduated high school in Windsor in 1989, attended MIZZOU, graduated from the Missouri Auction School in 1993, I obtained certification from the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) in 2009 at the University of Indiana.
FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY:
We did a lot of traveling, when I was young. My dad served in the Air Force and did a 4 year tour at Ramstein, Germany. Our vacations were spent in Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Holland, and Spain. I loved it.
FIRST JOB:
Besides a robust lawn mowing business at 11, I worked at Rival during the summer of ’86, then began a 23 career at Walmart.
FAVORITE MUSIC ARTIST:
My all time favorite is REO Speedwagon, but I like to listen to most of the Hair Bands from the 80’s… Def Leppard, Cinderella, Bon Jovi, ACDC…

Loyalty, humor, ethics
HOBBIES:
I have a small collection of coins, but am an avid collector of anything Star Wars, and have a room, at home, for the collection.
I HOPE I NEVER EVER HAVE TO:
Outlive a child or Lori
I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO:
Do a flip off a diving board (frustrates me)
MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT:
Doing a flip off a diving board lol
IF I WON THE LOTTERY I WOULD: Not tell a soul, and quietly retire
FUTURE GOAL:
Spoil my grandbabies and travel plenty
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR?
My kids and grandkids not having the same opportunities and freedoms I have had.
WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT LIVING IN CLINTON?
I love the small town atmosphere, being close to KC, yet far enough away.
WHICH PERSON DO YOU ADMIRE THE MOST?
My wife Lori. I can’t go anywhere, without a little kid running up to her wanting to get a hug.
