VYLA BROWN out front in recent Cross Country action. She medaled at Richmond placing fourth. The Cardinals’ Cross Country Team raced at the MRVC West Conference meet in Richmond on Wednesday, Oct. 20. Coach Johnson commented, “It was a hilly course but yet a beautiful day to race. This conference has always been known as one of the most competitive conferences in the state. I’m super proud of the young men and women that raced with everything they had today to represent our community and school district.”
Medals were awarded to the top 10 and were also named All-Conference: Varsity Girls: *Vyla Brown placed 4th (All-Conference), *Leah Kenney placed 7th (All-Conference), *Alexa McCartney placed 16th, *Sarah Mendenhall placed 17th and *Eleanor McMillan placed 30th.
Varsity Boys: *Laramie Mantonya placed 7th (All-Conference), *Gage Ross placed 16th, *Andrew Bedwell placed 20th, *Nickolas Crowell placed 21st, *Colby Bigler placed 30th and *Xavier Mason placed 36th. The Cardinals will race next Saturday, Oct. 30, in St. Joe at MWSU.
