Coach Silkwood reviewed the season and outlined the clear improvement the team showed as the season unfolded. One stat he pointed out was the team’s hitting average went up over 100 points in the second half of the season. Another glaring fact was the number of games (7) the team lost by one run. So if you are looking for a determined group of young ballplayers that showed a lot of improvement over the season it would be the 2021 Cards.
